I was fine with it (you know, had had a couple of kids). He introduced us and then came these dreaded words out of the mouth of the cute, Jewish young doc: "Well, actually, we've met before." A moment of complete horror later (thoughts of singles functions, forgotten dates possibly) and then: "I assisted in the procedure you had last year although you were kind of asleep for that. So, in a way, we've met before." It was then that I resolved that medical professionals should have a sense of humor, but watch it when we're still wearing the paper gown please.
